St George’s Day 27th April 2024
Our popular Knight School will be back at Sherwood Forest long with St George and his Knights on April 27th! We will also be delivering "Have a go archery" from the events field and there will be an exciting skirmish to end the day!

Ye Old Camp Severn 2024
2024 theme will be medieval with a mythical fantasy twist!
Ye Olde Camp Severn will be a full weekend of entertainment with everything included in the ticket cost! Once at the showground, all you need to buy is your food and drink.
Following feedback from our Festival visitors, the main entertainment days will now be Saturday 4th May and Sunday 5th May.
The Battle of Evesham Medieval Market 2024
A great family event that takes you back to the Middle Ages!
Join us on the 18th and 19th May 2024 for one of our favourite events of the year, The Evesham medieval Market! A free event full of medieval history, traders, stalls and demonstrations, including our Outlaw Camp and interactive characters!
Fantasy Forest 19th-21st July 2024
Dream with your eyes open! We are delighted to announce we will be appearing at Fantasy Forest this summer! Bringing our medieval camp, storytelling, combat demos and our cast of performers, we cannot wait to join the fantastic line up at this event!
Music, stalls, cosplay, demos, costumers and dreams- this is not a weekend to be missed!
The Woodland Festival 15th and 16th June
This Summer, The Sherwood Forest Trust celebrates the 10-year anniversary of their Woodland Festival. With the past 9 festivals being held in Sherwood Forest, the project has expanded and moved to the beautiful Walled Garden at Thoresby Park for the big anniversary this year on the 15th & 16th of June 2024.
This is a wonderful family-friendly day out, where visitors can engage with the natural world, learn skills and crafts from our local traders, and learn about local fauna and flora. The Woodland Festival is a fantastic even to generate community spirit and foster a sense of local pride and place.
